Baggage Irregularities
Everyone at Condor is careful to handle your baggage gently and with great care.
Damaged and missing baggage
However, if any damage occurs or if bags are missing (including missing contents), please notify the airport staff as soon as you arrive. They will make out a property irregularity report (PIR) for your baggage.
We do whatever we can to trace a missing bag as quickly as possible and return it to its rightful owner. You can check your baggage claim status online at Worldtracer.

Notifications of claims
If you don't notice that your baggage is damaged until you arrive at the hotel or at home, you must report this damage no later than 7 days after the baggage has been delivered either to your local travel representative or directly to Condor:

Please make sure to always provide your name and your complete mailing address. To handle your case, we will also need your flight date, the route and, if possible, the flight number.
Please understand that we cannot process complaints over the phone since we require supporting documents and other documentation for legal and auditing reasons.
In general, the following applies:
- Make sure that you label all of your bags (including carry-on baggage) with your name, home address and visiting address.
- Put important documents, valuables and any medication in your carry-on baggage.
- We will reimburse up to SDR 1,131 (approx. 1,227 EUR) in the event of destruction or loss of, or damage to, baggage. Checked baggage is covered by strict liability provided it was not damaged prior to check-in. We are only liable for non-checked baggage if we are at fault. If the value of your baggage exceeds the amount stated above, you should inform us when you check in or make sure that your baggage is fully insured before you travel. Our liability for checked baggage begins when we accept the baggage and ends when we return the baggage to the traveler. Airlines are not liable, however, for carry-on baggage, valuables like jewelry, banknotes, business papers, samples, passports, medication, or fragile or perishable items. These items should therefore remain in the care of the passengers. We recommend taking out an additional baggage insurance policy.
